HAPPY BIRTHDAY SALLIE!

We have a tradition with our kids that on the morning of their birthday, we come in and wake them up by singing "happy birthday", with blazing cake in tow. Here is Sallie and her morning birthday cake! She is very excited to be "FREE"!!

After we had taken some pics with her cake, Sallie hugged me and said "Thank you Mommy for my cake, thank you for buying my birthday cake."

She is such a sweetheart! So polite and has a heart of gold!

To celebrate with family and friends, tonight we are going to Chuck E Cheese's - her favorite place to go, second to going to church to see her friends.

Trip to the Zoo!

Yesterday we went to the Ft. Worth Zoo. Sallie had a great time exploring w/her "nap", which is how she says MAP. It was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful time.

Visited Grandpa & Nanny!

On Friday we went and put flowers on Zaza's grave for Mother's Day. We also went over to see Nanny & Grandpa and took a few pics of Sallie w/her great-grandparents.

When LITTLE Women Worship

Tonight Sallie and I attended an event with the church called "When Little Women Worship". We praised, worshipped, prayed, and ate ice cream. Here are a few pics from that event. Sallie did great with all the other big girls!

Zizak is 1 Month!!

Well yesterday, our sweet prince hit the ONE MONTH OLD marker...as you can see he has filled back out. This is a picture from today.

She keeps jumping!

Here is my favorite picture of Sallie jumping on the couch...Daniel and I laughed for a solid 10 minutes when we were looking at this! I guess it is the look on her face and her arms that cracked us up!

And now there are TWO

On April 9th...Daniel Izak joined the Sirka family...he is so awesome! He is very different than Sallie was as an infant...He is MUCH more cuddly (nice word for 'wants to be held ALL the time'). But we are enjoying him and Sallie is absolutely crazy about him!

Making this Blog

So we are new to "blogging"...so bear with me as I work my way into this. We just purchased a new digital camera so that Daniel can become an expert photographer.

Here is a pic of my Sallie girl as she is jumping on the couch! Yes I know...not supposed to do that. But she is hilarious when she is jumping! YOu gotta see it in person. My next blog entry will be of baby Daniel Izak :) I am not making any promises about doing a great job at keeping these current...but I do promise to try!!
